A Riftbound deck has five parts, built around your Champion Legend.

Your Legend sits in its own zone for the whole game. Its two domains define which cards you may play, and its champion tag picks your Chosen Champion, who starts the game on the side, ready to be played.
Runes are a separate 12-card deck that pays for everything. Battlefields are not shuffled in: they are set up before the game starts.
