Chapter 9 · 9 of 9

Playing on Rift Duels

Games between players are a manual table with guided choices and a virtual judge: you make every move, and the board suggests the ones available to you. Bot games and puzzles offer only the available moves.

Hover a card to preview it, click it to see its actions. Highlighted zones show where a card can go. When you have nothing left to do, pass or end your turn from the action bar.

Every game is saved as a replay you can step through from either seat. Use the playground to set up a position and test a line with both hands open.

Key points

  • Between players, guided choices are shortcuts: anything else can be done by hand, and the judge checks it.
  • Replays rebuild the game from its action log, step by step.
  • The playground controls both seats and lets you edit zones.

You know enough to play

The best way to learn the rest is a game. Against the bot, the board offers only the moves available to you. With a friend you can also play by hand, and the judge flags a move that does not look right.
